What a product is

A product is one thing you sell, with its own photos and its own checked facts. You add it once under Setup & Support → Brand facts → Products. After that you can feature it in a campaign with one click, and BrandOps9 uses its real photo and only its checked facts.

Add a product

Press "Add a product". Three short steps follow:

  • Where can we find it? Paste the link to the product page in your shop and press "Read page", pick one of the products we found on your website (when we don't know its page yet, "Use this" finds it in your shop; if there are several versions, such as colours, you pick one), or drop photos of the pack and label.
  • Pick the photos: keep the photos that really show the product. Click "Make main" on the clearest packshot. A plain, light background works best for the main photo.
  • Is this right? Every fact we found shows where it comes from. Press "Show proof" to see the words on the page. Switch off anything you don't want in posts. Under "Left out" are claims the page doesn't prove; if you can confirm one, switch it on and it is saved as "Confirmed by you". Then press "Save product".

Facts we leave out

BrandOps9 only keeps a fact when the words are really on the product page or the pack. Claims it can't prove, such as "recommended by doctors", appear under "Left out" with the reason. Posts never state them.

Health claims stay word for word

A health or nutrition claim, such as "Vitamin D contributes to the normal function of the immune system", is marked "Used word for word". Posts quote it exactly and never rephrase it or add a new claim.

Feature a product in a campaign

In Campaigns → New campaign → Start from inspiration, the second step shows "Feature a product". It opens by itself when the style you picked has a spot for a product; otherwise press the "Feature a product" link. Pick a product and every idea is about it. Posts link to the product page in your shop.

Your real photo or a new scene

  • Your real photo (the default): uses this exact photo and places a scene around it. The label is never redrawn, so names and numbers on the pack stay exact.
  • A new scene: redraws your photo into a scene. The product blends into the light, but small text on the label can change.
  • Clothing (a shirt, a jacket, trousers): shop photos usually show a model, so pictures always show one person wearing your exact garment, drawn from its photos, with the fabric visible. Pasting the photo with its model into a scene put extra people into the picture.

Other ways to feature a product

  • Let AI suggest campaigns: pick a product under "Feature a product" and every suggestion is about it. Without one, a suggestion may still feature one of your products; the card then says "Featuring" and the product's name.
  • Write it myself: pick a product before you start writing. The campaign name is filled in for you, the posts use only that product's facts, and the images use its real photo.
  • Collateral → Generate with AI: pick a product under "About a product". The document uses its main photo as the cover, links to the product page and states only its facts.

Connect your shop

Press "Connect your shop" on the Products tab to add many products at once. Enter the address of your shop and press "Find products": BrandOps9 finds out by itself whether it is Shopify, WooCommerce or another shop. You can also paste the link to your Google Shopping feed. BrandOps9 reads the product list your shop already shows to search engines, so no sign-in is needed. Untick what you don't want and press "Add 12 products" (the number you ticked). The products land under "In your shop", below the products that are ready for posts. Search by name, colour or material, or pick a group such as Knitwear or Shoes (taken from your shop, or from the product name), and press "Check it" on the ones you want: check their photos and facts before they are used. Some shops block automated readers. BrandOps9 then says so: drop photos of the pack, or paste the link to your Google Shopping feed.

Pause a product

Under "Ready for posts", each checked product shows "In Autopilot" or "Paused". Press "Pause" to keep Autopilot from featuring it, for example out of season. Its photos and facts stay, you can still pick it in your own campaigns, and "Resume" puts it back. "Feature a product" in each wizard has the same search and groups, and "Check and use" on a shop product checks it and picks it in one go.

Products in Autopilot

Publish → Autopilot → Auto-Generate new posts has "Posts about your products": None, Some (about one in four posts, the default) or About half. Autopilot takes turns: the product featured longest ago goes next, each product gets its own Autopilot campaign, and the posts use the real photo and link to the product page. Click a product tile to leave it out.

  • Once you have checked one product, Autopilot only names checked products, also in posts that are not about a product.
  • Once a month BrandOps9 looks at each product page again. A new price or a product that sold out shows "Changed on your site" and pauses the product until you press "Check it" and save it again. A product that is sold out in your shop is left out of Autopilot by itself.

Products and facts in Get found by AI

Get found by AI reads your Brand facts page by itself, so you never type a fact twice:

  • Your fact sheet ("Tell AI exactly who you are") lists every checked product with its product page, photo, price and stock, and says how many facts and products it uses from Brand facts.
  • "What AI says about you" checks assistants against all your usable Brand facts and product facts, so an old price or a wrong dose shows up as a wrong fact. The correcting text is written from the same facts.
  • Suggested buyer questions include one or two per product. When AI recommends a competitor there, the LinkedIn campaign features your product with its real photo and its facts.
  • "Fix your website" says when your own product pages don't tell AI the price and stock.

Where product facts show

Saved product facts are normal Brand facts. On the Facts tab they fold into one line per product under "Product facts". Press "Open" to see and change them under Products.
